Reformer Class Levels Explained

Gentle Flow

This class is suitable during all trimesters in pregnancy.

 

This class is thoughtfully designed for individuals seeking a low-impact, supportive movement experience that prioritises comfort and care. Perfect for those recovering from injuries or looking to maintain mobility, strength, and flexibility, this session offers a slower-paced, guided approach on the Reformer.

 

Whether you're aiming to improve posture, increase joint stability or simply build confidence in movement, this gentle class provides a welcoming environment to enhance overall well-being. 

 

No prior Pilates experience is required. 

Beginner / Intermediate

This class is designed to build a strong foundation while progressing at a comfortable pace. Perfect for those new to Reformer Pilates or looking to refine their technique. The session focusses on core strength, stability and proper alignment during a full-body workout.

 

As your confidence grows challenges will be introduced for you to progress.

 

We understand that some participants choose beginner classes because the timings suit rather than their level. If you prefer a more of a challenge, please let your instructor know. They will be happy to provide options to make movements more challenging and tailored to your abilities.

 

If you have injuries or health concerns, please make your instructor aware so we can accommodate you.

Mixed Level

You will guide enjoy a fun, full-body workout designed to build strength, improve tone, and enhance overall fitness.

 

This class is designed to improve your Reformer experience in a safe environment with modifications to suit your individual fitness level.  

 

If you have injuries or concerns, please inform your instructor so appropriate accommodations can be made.

Advanced

Advanced classes are suitable for those with previous Reformer experience only.

 

Understanding the basic pilates principles with and established level of flexibility and coordination will be required for this class.

 

You will enjoy a faster pace of class while still focussing on form and a high standard of movement through practice. This class will take you through a full body workout designed to enhance your fitness levels and build strength.

Dynamic Flow

Our Dynamic Flow Reformer classes combine strength, stability and fluid movement. We ask for some experience in Reformer and a reasonable level of fitness for this class. 

 

Dynamic Flow is designed to energise you, this session focusses on seamless transitions, controlled movement and a balanced blend of resistance and flow. Expect to challenge your core, improve muscle tone, and enhance flexibility, all the while maintaining a steady rhythm for a full-body workout.

  

If you have injuries or health issues which significantly affect your agility and balance please choose a beginners class.

Reformer HIIT

The Perfect Balance of Strength, Cardio & Reformer Pilates!

 

Looking for a high-energy twist on your Reformer practice? Our Reformer HIIT class is a circuit-based workout that combines the benefits of Reformer Pilates with strength training and cardio bursts.  Using a mix of Pilates equipment and weights, this dynamic session is designed to challenge and energize you at whatever level you’re currently at. 

 

This class is only suitable for those with some previous Reformer experience, making it a fantastic way to build on your existing skills. 

 

Reformer HIIT classes are in Studio 2, Kildare Town.  Book your spot the usual way—just select our Kildare location and follow the steps.
